With 5 base ingredients and no added sugar this is a super simple recipe for a quick sweet treat!
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup puffed rice
1/4 cup honey
1/3 cup peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup of dried fruit
1/2 cup of choc chips
GUIDE / INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Line a 20x20cm baking tin with baking paper.
Place the oats into a food processor and blitz until you have a fine flour.
Combine the oat flour with the puffed rice.
Step 2: Met the honey, peanut butter and vanilla in a saucepan over a gentle heat until the mixture is smooth and melted.
Pour the peanut butter and honey mix over the oats and puffed rice and stir to combine.
Step 3: If you have any extras (choc chips, nuts, dried fruit) stir them in now.
Press the mixture firmly into the prepared tin and place in the fridge to set, for about 2 hours.
Once it is set, slice and enjoy!
