Gluten Free & Dairy Free Chocolate Peppermint Balls…. What more could one ask for..?

This recipe is extremely easy, even the kids can help!

INGREDIENTS
  • 1.5 cups of raw cashews, soaked in water for 3 hours

  • 1 cup raw almonds

  • 1/2 cup coconut

  • 18 Medjool dates, pit taken out and soaked in hot water for 20 minutes

  • 3-5 drops of Doterra Peppermint oil depending on your preferred taste

  • A dash of water

GUIDE / INSTRUCTIONS
  • Step 1: Put almonds and coconut in a blender and blend until desired consistency has been reached

  • Step 2: Add dates, cashews and peppermint oil and blend until desired consistency. Use a few drops of water as needed to help the mix combine together

  • Step 3: Put the mix into the fridge for a hour to firm up to make rolling easier. Roll balls into desired ball size

  • Step 4: Melt one bag of Vego Melts over a double boiler

  • Step 5: Once chocolate is nice and runny, roll the balls through the chocolate and tap off any excess chocolate. Put the chocolate coated balls in a container with a lid and return them to the fridge and eat as desired. Best served straight from the fridge. Enjoy!
